My Father Did Not Prepare Me For Marriage – Socialite Sheilah Gashumba

Media personality and Socialite Sheilah Gashumba has come out to tell critics that she wasn’t made for marriage by her father. This is after she aired her opinion about a tweet that has gone viral by a one Godfrey Kuteesa.

In this tweet, Kuteesa said that a married woman is supposed to sit and wait for her husband till the wee hours of the night.

This wife then goes ahead to serve her man ‘luwombo’ food and waits as he eats. She then gives him water to shower. This is a woman that wins over her man with love.

A number of people have since been airing their opinions in regards to this tweet. And among them is Sheilah. Quoting the tweet, she said that she wasn’t going to comment about it. In fact she was leaving issues of married people to themselves.

One of her followers told her that her father, Frank Gashumba didn’t prepare her for marriage. She therefore can’t understand such issues.

In response, the former NBS TV presenter said that it’s true her daddy didn’t. Instead he prepared her to make money and the rest are not worth the time.

For those that were trained to become wives and husbands by their parents, Sheilah said that its their personal choices.

“He prepared me to make money that’s all I know for sure. Everything else is a by the way!! If your father prepared you to get married, good for you but remember we ain’t the same and our goals are different,” she said.

For a long time, she has been taunted by critics over her lifestyle which doesn’t depict that of a would be married woman. She’s been in a couple of different failed relationships. Currently she’s dating singer Rickman.
