Nsamba Quraish Of Bukedde TV To Be Buried Today

Nsamba Quraish, the Vision Group journalist who died on Tuesday afternoon doing his work is to be buried today. Nsamba apparently collapsed in Ndeeba and shortly after that got taken to the hospital where doctors immediately pronounced him dead.

Nsamba’s family released the burial program showing that he would be buried at Nkoowe Muslim Cemetary. It also showed the time for the burial to be at 4:00pm today evening.

Before this unfortunate incident yesterday, Nsamba had been covering a story in Ndeeba, a suburb in Kampala. However, on a sad note, he died before any doctor could attend to him.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy police spokesperson revealed that the deceased felt unwell on Tuesday afternoon while he worked.

“A friend, who rushed him to hospital in Ndeeba, has confirmed to me. He (Nsamba) complained of not feeling well and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead a few minutes later,” Owoyesigyire revealed.

Condolence messages started pouring in as soon as the news of Nsamba’s death broke out. Hannington Muluuta, a senior producer at Bukedde TV praised the deceased for being hardworking.

“Condolences colleagues. This is really sad,” Barbara Kaija, Vision Group’s Editor-in-Chief said. She revealed that Nsamba Quraish scrubbed city suburbs for stories especially crime-related ones and said that they will dearly missed.

Nsamba has also been a presenter on Bukedde TV1’s Kadongokamu program every Sunday. He is survived by a wife and children.
