Bukedde TV Revives It’s ‘Miss ne Mr. Bukedde’ Talent Search

Bukedde TV has launched season 2 of their popular ‘Miss ne Mr Bukedde’ talent show to discover talent across the country. During the competition in search of talent, fans, listeners and viewers showcase different talents including, music, dance, drama among others.

The news of the new season comes after the exciting first season ran last year.

As a ceremonial mark to the start of the competition, guests converge at Vision Group head offices.

Those interested in the competition have been provided with a WhatsApp number on which to send a video showcase of their talent. Judges will then review the videos and select the top 60 contestants who will be invited for physical auditions.

Out of those 60 shortlisted contestants, 18 will be selected and taken for a boot camp where they will be coached to enhance their talents. The 18 will further be cut to 10 at the semifinals and these will advance to the finals.

The winners (Miss and Mister) will walk away with shs 10m as well as a land title. The first runners-up in both categories (miss and Mr) will walk away with shs 5m each.

The videos are to air on Bukedde TV on Sunday evenings between 8-9pm. During this one-hour show, the audience will be invited to vote and determine the winners of the contest.

Apparently, the new season is going to be better than the first according to Vision Group’s managing director, Gervase Ndyanabo.

“You saw the excitement and the participation of the public in season one. This contest is also part of the Bukedde relationship has with its readers, viewers and listeners,” he said.
