Pastor Bugingo Puts Pentagon Fundraising To A Hold

House of Prayer ministries leader, Pastor Bugingo Aloysius has with immediate effect stopped the fundraising of his church also known as the Pentagon. This happened after he survived an assassination at the beginning of this year 2024. This left his bodyguard Richard Muhumuza lifeless

Pastor Bugingo and his bodyguard were in the same car at the time the unknown assailants started shooting at them.

He somehow managed to survive the shots and even went ahead to rush his bodyguard to the hospital immediately after the shooting

There have been some controversial statements made on social media, some accusing Bugingo of not revealing the whole truth behind the shooting.

Others accused him of wanting to run away with the money his followers in the church had been raising for some years. This money is a[apparently to build the house of prayer.

According to Pastor Bugingo, some Ugandans are heartless. He knows the pain he is personally going through and he can’t believe he watched someone close to him die in his presence.

He said the fundraising of the Pentagon has come to a halt until further notice.

“We won’t be having Pentagon fundraising until further notice. I will let the church know when we resume,” he said.

It should be noted that people have been fundraising for Bugingo’s church for so many years. However, there has never been any visible progress. This has always raised eyebrows and now it’s halt seems suspicious.
