Ronald Alimpa Dragged To Court And Spends Night Behind Bars

If there is any singer who has not enjoyed their time at the top, it’s none other than upcoming and faded singer Ronald Alimpa. Besides his previous scandals especially owing to bad manners, he’s at it again and this time spent time behind the coolers after being dragged to court.

This is after a promoter from Rakai dragged him to court.

According to this promoter, he paid money to Alimpa but he never showed up to fulfil his obligations of performing.

The promoter says that Alimpa never came and the revellers turned violent. They destroyed and burnt his property including TV’s, chairs among others.

When he went to court, Alimpa was given dates on which to appear but he never showed up. This promoter was left with no choice but to hunt him down.

Despite being in a wheelchair, he was jailed. Court in Rakai however gave him bail as explained by one of his sureties, Promoter Nobert.

“Well, Alimpa was arrested but we thank the Court who saw his situation and gave him bail. This promoter says that he gave Alimpa Shs 3m to perform at his Christmas shows. But owing to the situation he was in, he didn’t show up. The promoter says that people destroyed his equipment and he wants to be refunded. He asked for Shs180m and we didn’t even know where to start from to negotiate. However on reaching court, his case says that he only wants Shs 3m,” Promoter Nobert said.

He however also blamed Alimpa for accepting money due to the condition he was in. Further, he added that Alimpa will henceforth appear in all these court sessions.
