Former Minister Rukutana Rallies Rushenyi Constituents To Live Purposeful Lives

Former Minister of Labour, Hon Mwesigwa Rukutana has urged the general public to work hard for the development of their families and communities.

He said this is the major way they are to live a purposeful life for generations to come.

He made these remarks on Thursday during the burial of late Rose Turyamutunga Kamabaare, a wife to his brother David Namara.

The burial took place in her ancestral home in Ruyonza, Rushenyi Sub-County, Ntungamo District.

Rukutana noted that the late Kamabaare lived a purposeful life. He additionally said she was a good partner in development and an advocate of education.

He also referred to her as a brave woman who never accepted intimidation from the world.

Hon Rukutana further called upon the mourners to be tolerant and cooperative rather than joining political camps.

He said these stifle the development of their families and areas. Rukutana also commended the late for passing through thick and thin yet remaining focused on what is important.

He also pledged to the mourners his continued support for the current leaders if they are willing to use him in terms of expertise.

The Ntugamo district chairman Samuel Mucunguzi commended the honorable for his continued lobbying for the district.

Additionally, the Ngoma Sub-County councilor noted that Hon Rukutana has remained a pivotal and strong pillar in development even though he is no longer in power. He thus advised leaders to use him.
