Serena Bata Says Abitex Wanted More Than Just Music From Her

Former Abitex promotions singer Serena Bata has blamed her boss Abbey Musinguzi also known as Abitex for their failed working relationship.

She said she worked so hard to keep it professional but Abitex wasn’t into that. He wanted more than just a working relationship which wasn’t going to work.

Before Serena Bata started working with Abitex, she had just left a toxic relationship with socialite Sipapa. He was her manager and at the same time her boyfriend. When the relationship failed to work even the business between them collapsed.

Abitex saw an opportunity of business and he decided to take over and start managing her. Two years into the business, the singer decided to call it quits. She said her contract had expired but Abitex was still forcing her to perform on his terms.

She also decided to start booking shows on her own and perform with Abitex unaware of it. When he got to know about it, he threatened to arrest her.

He told her to stop performing the songs she did under his management. He said if Serena Bata continues to do so, she will immediately get arrested.

According to the singer, she has no problems with Abitex. If he had kept their work professional, everything would have been fine.

“I have no problem with Abitex, he knows what he did and why I refused to sign another contract with him,” she said.
