Singer Vinka Starts Up Daycare, Reveals Why

She thought of the many mothers who have limited time for maternity leave. They always have about three months of this leave and have to quickly go back to work.

And having been there herself, she figured out many might need it. This daycare although it hasn’t started will be looking after babies as young as 3 months to 3 years old.

The Thank God singer also narrated some of the hardships she has so far encountered in marriage. These are not so many but the only thing that always has her worried is when she leaves her child home to go and perform.

“It’s true I started up a daycare centre and it will be looking after babies from 3 months up to 3 years old. Initially, I didn’t have a plan of starting one but after I gave birth, I gave it a thought. I thought about maternity leave which requires these mothers to go back to work after 3 months. And I figured out that they need a place where they can feel secure after leaving their kids.”

“The problems I have encountered in marriage so far aren’t many. It’s maybe only when I leave my kid behind to go and work. I always worry who I have left him with. But after work I always go home and tend to him. Luckily I have a loving and caring husband,” said the singer.

She also appreciated Swangz Avenue for the stone they have added to her. Vinka said that it’s because of the music label that she’s known.

It was here that she started as a music manager of Irene Ntale before she quit the label. And for the musicians the label keeps on signing, that is what competition is all about.
