Gospel Musician Joseph Ngoma Reveals The Tough Side Of Singing Gospel

[dropcap]V[/dropcap]eteran gospel singer Joseph Ngoma has revealed the tough side of doing gospel music. According to Ngoma, finances are the biggest problem hindering them. Many promoters and people who hire them don't actually pay them. They apparently think that they are free of charge and yet they invest heavily in their music just like any other secular musician. Ngoma further said that it's always difficult to refuse to sing as they prioritize God before money. And although they need the money, they always keep the faith that God will provide. "The biggest problem in gospel music is that most people take us for granted. They think we are meant to sing for free and because we always put God first, we accept to sing and abscond the money. However, the truth is we always need it. We invest in our music and videos just like the secular musicians." He also said that even the money collected in church is always too little to run church services. The Gwe Byonna singer then revealed that he wants to buy a car but the money is not enough. Ngoma called upon the public to support him and buy this car as it will be serving the entire ministry. This comment follows one made by Pastor Samuel Kakande a few days ago. Kakande in a video that went viral told his followers to send him 1m shillings so that he buys a car of his choice. According to the controversial pastor, this should be done by those who love him and it will be a test to see those that do.
