What Makes Uganda Surprisingly Cheap To Travel To!

While Uganda maybe one of the most beautiful places in the world, most nationals travel not, they hardly get the opportunity to move around and explore of the wonders of the Pearl. Today I will walk you through how to put together an affordable travel plan in one of Uganda’s beautiful places; we will visit Murchison Falls National Park.

At a budget of only $300 for Ugandans for this trip, including all travel, accommodation in budget but decent hotels for two nights, breakfast, lunch and dinner and all park entrance fees, ferry crossing, boat ride on the River Nile, cost of guides and government taxes, enjoy Murchison Falls National Park on a Three Day Tour;

On the first day you start from Kampala City early in the morning thus if you are in Uganda’s CBA and head northwards through Luwero and Nakasongola. Your first stop will be at Karuma to view the water falls on the River Nile, continue through Pakwach to rest through the night at a game lodge as you gear up for day two’s game drive.

Day two, you wake up as early as 5:40, catch an early morning breakfast and also pack or the game drive in Murchison Falls National Park which if you are to enjoy to the fullest, you will start at 6:00am. There is a rich variety of animals and birds waiting to feast your eyes in the park.

Travel to Uganda, you’ll see lots of beautiful things!

This is just the beginning of day two’s activeness, by noon, the drive is done. Stop for lunch and then in the early afternoon, take a game viewing boat ride on the River Nile, seeing Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos, Buffalos and an array of animals and birds. The boat ride should lead you at the base of beautiful and outstanding base of the Murchison Falls to view the tons of water forcing its way through the narrow 8 meter gorge and coming down 45 meters to the base of the falls.

These are the most beautiful falls in the world, don’t forget to take and make memories here. Leaving the boat, take a guided hike to the top of the water falls, here you get closer to experiencing a breathe taking view of the falls from the top, after we will drive back to the resort for the night.

On the third day, after breakfast, don’t forget to visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where most of Ugandans unique rhino species are kept. From here, you travel back to Kampala.
