Uganda’s Music Industry Is Proud Of Eddy Kenzo – Chosen Blood

Singer, Chosen Blood, has given fellow singer and Grammy nominee Eddy Kenzo his flowers saying the whole music industry is very proud of him.

Kenzo is an inspiration to the young generation. This is especially to those that live on the streets without parents, no food, no roof over their heads, and no education on top of it but with talent.

Uganda has so many talented young people but most of them lack the push and funds to get their talent on the level where people can see it.

Although for Eddy Kenzo, he was fortunate enough that when he started music hustling. His songs caught people’s attention and he broke through the industry very fast.

His song ‘Sitya loss’ even crossed Uganda and it helped him win the BET Award.

To date, he is the only Ugandan to do that despite finding other talented artists already established. Recently, he was nominated in the biggest music award the Grammy Awards.

He made history because he is the first Ugandan born and raised to reach to that level. Every artiste would like to get to that level but it needs hard work and more connections.

Singer Chosen Blood is also among the many people that would like to get to where Kenzo is. During an interview with a local radio station, he said despite how selfish Ugandan artistes are, it is not hidden the whole industry is proud of Eddy Kenzo. This will, therefore, keep pushing every artiste to work harder.

“It feels great having a Ugandan nominated in the #Grammys, our industry is proud, congratulations Eddy Kenzo,” he said.
