We won’t Rest Until President Museveni’s Regime Is Brought To Justice, Kyagulanyi

Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has said they are not resting until President Museveni’s regime is brought to justice. He said this after the release of his colleagues who have been in jail for six months plus.

“We are very delighted to reconnect with all our comrades who have been released from illegal detention. After six months of torture, imprisonment and humiliation, the General Court Martial released 18 of those they were still holding. Their release on bail was hinged on very tough conditions, including an order for them not to go beyond Kampala and Wakiso without the court’s permission,” he said.

What Bobi Wine said;

He says they are going to explore all avenues to attain justice for their colleagues. The court accused Nubia Li, Eddy Mutwe, Dan Magic plus 17 others of illegal possession of ammunition. However Kyagulanyi says all these are baseless accusations. According to him, it’s the pressure from the people that led the court to release their colleagues.

“We are very grateful to all Ugandans, home and abroad who have raised their voices demanding for these comrades’ release. I thank the religious leaders, traditional leaders, political leaders and all ordinary citizens who have done everything to demand for the release of these people. We must now not relent but continue to struggle until all the hundreds of our people are freed unconditionally.”

Meanwhile, Nubian Li and Eddy Mutwe were so grateful towards the people who raised their voices until they came out. They, however, said conditions in Kitalya are so horrible. They squeeze themin tiny rooms and every day they keep adding to their number. Stories around Kitalya are not new. Unfortunately, no one has ever made a substantial report in regard to these accusations.
