When President Museveni Starts Stammering, He’s Lying – Former NRM Member Denis Ssekabira

Katikamu north member of Parliament Hon Denis Ssekabira has come out to expose President Museveni’s alleged lying skills.

Ssekabira who was once a member of the ruling NRM said that he knows the head of state very well. Apparently, he doesn’t stammer, according to Ssekabira, when Museveni starts to stammer he’s then obviously lying.

“I was in NRM before, and President Museveni doesn’t stammer. When he starts stammering, then he is lying,” said Ssekabira while appearing on the NBS Eagle.

This drew in a number of reactions with most social media users saying that the President has never spoken the truth. This is because most of the time he speaks he stammers.

The NUP MP also talked about the controversial coffee bill the government signed with the Vinci company. According to Ssekabira, Museveni can do whatever he pleases but he won’t take away the coffee from Ugandans.

The president had earlier reiterated that this deal is about value addition to the coffee production in the country. Denis Ssekabira believes the move is not about value addition but targeting the huge monies in the sector.

“Coffee exports bring about $11 billion in foreign exchange to Uganda. Trying to get someone to be a monopoly isn’t about value addition. It’s about targeting that money. Let everyone compete.

Even though President Museveni dances, we will not let him take our coffee. Coffee belongs to Ugandans,” he further added.

Another critical issue the MP talked about is the monstrous and luxurious cars that have been purchased by the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

The legislator said that the idea was conceived in the 10th Parliament.

The MP said that perhaps if he was in Parliament, he would have voted against the idea which would have represented his people. He also denied having received the additional extra allowances they allegedly gave Parliamentarians.
