Willy Mukabya Reveals Why Current Musicians Are Into Sugar Mummies

Veteran Kadongo Kamu singer Willy Mukabya has revealed why most current musicians are into sugar mummies. According to the singer, most of these upcoming singers are looking for a way to survive.

He went ahead to add that in their generation, they always knew that talent was enough to sustain them. However, the current singers know that their talent alone is not enough hence getting sugar mummies to finance their careers and lifestyle.

Furthermore, the singer also said that he doesn’t want to advise these Musicians on what to do. This is because everyone has the right to do what pleases them.

“Most musicians in our time knew that we could rely on our talent alone and become stars. However, music has become something else now. These upcoming musicians know that they can’t survive only on talent thus the sugar mummies. Meanwhile, I don’t want to criticize them. They can do whatever they want and follow whichever path they feel was prescribed for them to make it,” he said.

Many upcoming singers and even those already established have been linked with old intimate partners. This is both male and female. Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi recently asked her followers how they survive without a sugar daddy/mummy in this tough economy.

Bruno K is currently embroiled in a wrangle with a sugar mummy. Singers such as Grenade, Fik Fameica, Guvnor Ace, Liam Voice among others have all been linked to sugar mummies.

The list is endless and expensive lifestyles that these Musicians can’t afford could be the reason.
