Our MP’s Are Foolish And Museveni Is Selfish-Mabirizi

The age limit hullabaloo has awakened visionary pastor and former presidential candidate, Elton Joseph Mabirizi from his long political slumber.

Mabirizi who miserably lost the 2016 presidential elections appeared on NTV “Big Story” Wednesday morning to castigate President Yoweri Museveni for overstaying in power.

“If I met Museveni, I would ask him not to touch the constitution,” Mabirizi said, explaining that the only reason for Museveni to change article 102b is selfishness.

“[The] only reason for MPs to sign is foolishness,” he suggested.

Mabirizi said Museveni’s problem is overstaying in power yet he had cited this as Africa’s biggest problem very many years ago.

“He is now worried about leaving. He is thus diverting resources.”

The pastor was asked whether he intends to stand again in 2021 elections where Museveni, if the constitution is not changed, would not participate.

“People shouldn’t worry about whether I will stand again. I have been doing research and building capacity,” Mabirizi explained.

He said Museveni has brought his bush war into politics “but I don’t want to just shout, I am busy building capacity.”

Joseph said he wants all institutions to be represented from up there to down there because they have been destroyed in this regime.

As regards 2016 elections, Mabirizi says no one won that election and that although Museveni was announced the winner, he wasn’t the winner.

“And yes, I am coming back in 2021. Museveni has done nothing in his regime.”

Mabirizi further said he was shocked hearing minister Beti Kamya saying Museveni is ‘brighter’ than all ministers.
