Once the best of buddies, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and rapper 50Cent had a bitter falling out that resulted in some back-and-forth tirades over social media in the past, according to Philstar.

But the rift isn’t stopping the Grammy-winning rapper 50Cent to put his money on Mayweather when he takes on Manny Pacquiao on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
In an interview with The Breakfast Club of the New York-based radio station Power 105.1, 50 Cent was asked who he thinks will win the megabuck showdown.
He didn’t hesitate in picking the undefeated Mayweather.
“I got champ [Mayweather]. He’s gonna smoke him [Pacquiao],” 50Cent told the interviewer.
“It’s gonna look like he’s pumped up for no reason,” he added
The rapper and boxing promoter is so confident of a Mayweather victory that he’s willing to put money where his mouth is – a huge amount of it.
50Cent really decided to put that amount!
Asked how much he’ll bet on Mayweather, 50Cent replied: “Probably 1.6 [million dollars].”
Mayweather, unbeaten in 47 bouts, is less than a 2-1 favorite against Pacquiao, who interestingly performs remarkably every time the odds aren’t in his favor.
But 50Cent, for his part, insists his former buddy will come out on top.
“I’ve been thinking this out myself for quite some time. I know he’s [Mayweather] focused right now,” he continued.
Mayweather better not let him down.
