A General Can Not Threaten Another Country – Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye

Brig. Gen. Felix Kulayigye has said a military general can not threaten another country. He said this after what the first son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba did this week.

Muhoozi was threatening Kenya that Uganda can take over it’s capital in a split second if they wanted to.

“A general cannot threaten another country. The authority to declare war lies with parliament and the president. A president can declare war if a country has been attacked, and parliament can declare war in agreement with the president.”

However, he says, UPDF is not made of angels but of people who sometimes gets excited.

“The UPDF is not made of angels, we are human beings. There are individuals that at times get excited when deployed to do work and make mistakes which we are sorry for. However, we always punish those who error.”

Since Kulayigye talked about punishment, most of the members of the public asked when the first son is going to receive his own.

Meanwhile, the president on behalf of his son apologized to Kenyans saying his son was just bluffing. This didn’t sit well with the many Ugandans who say Museveni shouldn’t have said us, but rather my son.

According to them, Kenyans should not hold all Ugandans at heart because Muhoozi’s views don’t represent the views of all Ugandans at large.
