As the world is being taken over by technology, definitely Uganda doesn’t want to be left behind as It’s in the process of ending scratch airtime in the nation.

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) has set 30th June 2018 as the end date for using scratch airtime cards. UCC said that the all telecom companies should resolve to use electronic airtime.
According to reports, telecom companies are supposed to provide UCC with an average period in which they would have consumed all scratch cards available in the market. The companies should also sensitize the vendors about erasing out scratch cards within the same period.
The UCC ED Godfrey Mutabazi revealed that all telecom companies are also supposed to submit the current stock of scratch cards including the scratch cards already in market.
