Am Going To Bring A Grammy Award To Uganda- Grenade Official

Singer Deus Ndugwa aka Grenade Official has vowed to bring a Grammy award to Uganda. The Grammys are some of the world’s prestigious awards that seem to recognize excellence in the different arts categories world over and happen in the US.

The Nkuloga hitmaker made this revelation while appearing on NBS After 5 program. The singer who has had a chance to rub shoulders with some of the entertainment’s best such as Eddy Kenzo, Jose Chameleon said he has learnt a lot from these superstars.

He said that he will work hard to correct their mistakes and flourish in the music industry.

“I am hardworking and I will bring the Grammy Award down here home. I have seen big artists like Jose Chameleon work hard but they didn’t reach to some places because of some reasons. I am going to work right on those reasons and I will bring the Grammy home.” Grenade assured.

Grenade is not the first musician to promise to win a Grammy award. A few months ago, rapper Crysto Panda vowed that he will be the first Ugandan musician to win a Grammy award.

However, it’s only Kenzo’s 2014 BET award that Uganda still has to show off to the international world.
