Angel Kawunda Opens Up On Relationship With Masaka Businessman

In February, many people were left in shock when Masaka City businessman Emmanuel Lwasa Kaweesa got introduced by Angel Kawunda. The colorful ceremony took place in Nakasongola.

The introduction came shortly after TV presenter Diana Nabatanzi and Lwasa split and went on their separate journeys. Rumor has it that the two split after Lwasa claimed that Diana had refused to bear his children.

In an interview with Angel Kawunda about her marriage to Lwasa, she revealed some interesting information. She said while narrating how she and Lwasa met, that she has always been a hard-working woman who has always taken care of herself since childhood.

‘’We met just like any other ordinary couple, liked each other, talked about it and here we are. I liked him because of several reasons like him being a good man, mature and responsible. People say he got me from a bar but he wouldn’t have liked me if I was a bad person or if he was a bad person,’’ Angel said.

She further said that when they met, she wasn’t a waitress in the bar, but rather owned it. She further disregarded claims that she made the first move on Lwasa saying that whether or not that is true, she is the one Lwasa chose to be with.

The marriage between the two caused many social media users to talk negatively saying Angel only got married because of the money.

She however said that she did not know Lwasa before and had never heard about him.

Furthermore, Angel Kawunda said that the good thing is Lwasa did not lie to her. He came clean about having other wives and many children but promised to take care of her.

‘’When he decided to marry me, I told him we were not doing well financially at home since we hadn’t stabilized well from the Covid situation. He told me not to worry about it so long as there was a place to sit and water to drink,’’ Angel said.
