People are willing to do just about anything to get what they want. This is even at the expense of their own lives. It may sound good that you died fighting for what you think is right, but isn’t it better to live and see it come to pass.
Many people are preaching intimidation and violence. Every one has put their guns out, it’s like we are heading for a war. However, is it really worth it? Who even said there has to be blood shed just because of change of power? Some people have also made it a habit to cause chaos in places where people seem not to agree with them.
There are 14 presidential candidates and all of them have their supporters. Also, who tells you everyone should support your candidate?
We are easily forgetting that if anything happens to us during the elections, its our families that suffer. If you die in a riot, the bad news is that no one is going to take care of your family. Not even the politician you are fighting for.
Whatever you do, do it wisely. Have at the back of your mind that somehow you are alone. If anything happens we shall only empathize and that’s all it will be.
Let’s choose the path of peace, let’s go and vote, let us do only what we have to do. Also. don’t be a hero where there is no need. You have a life after elections, you need to stay alive.
Your family needs you alive. This country needs us alive. Let’s do everything possible to keep the peace in our mother land.
