Azawi Contented With Her Career As It Meets Her Needs

Swangz Avenue singer Zawedde Priscilla also known as Azawi has said she is contented with her music career. She said she is very glad that it meets her financial obligations to her mother where need be.

Azawi joined the industry professionally in 2019 under Swangz Avenue. Before that, she was writing and selling songs on top of performing in live bands. She said it was a struggle for her because she couldn’t earn a lot from it yet her mother needed help and other siblings.

Back in the day, the only help Azawi could offer was to help her mother run their small restaurant. She mostly help her by serving customers.

After joining Swangz Avenue, she said her life completely changed. She started earning a lot of money to help her get whatever she wanted.

As the singer is gearing up to release her second album, she said she couldn’t believe that at one point in her life, she would be successful.

Having grown up in a poor family, all she knew was to hustle even with her talent. She used to perform but sometimes she wasn’t paid anything.

“I am glad that through my talent, I am now able to meet my financial obligations and facilitate my mother where need be. I couldn’t believe that at any point of my life I would get to this level although it was always my dream,” she said.

It should be noted that Azawi is very talented in that all the songs she does are written by herself.
