Azawi Reveals Why She Is Unique Artiste In Swangz Avenue

Swangz Avenue musician and songwriter Zawedde Priscilla also known as Azawi has revealed reasons why she is a unique artiste in Swangz. Swangz Avenue has five artistes at the moment, four ladies and one male musician.

The record label signed up Azawi in 2019 and in 2022 she released her first album. She became the first artist to release the album yet she found musicians like Vinka and Winnie Nwagi already signed.

She then did her first ever concert the same year she released her first album. Her label mates had spent more than five years doing music but without a concert.

Just last week, Azawi released her second album and also set days for her second concert. Winnie Nwagi in her whole music career has had only one concert and Vinka has had none.

Fans are wondering what is so special about Azawi that is not with other Swangz Avenue musicians.

According to the singer, she is a very unique artist. She said what makes her more unique is that she doesn’t go to the public that much.

The talented singer revealed that she spends more of her time in studio making more songs. She only moves out when it is about business nothing more than that.

“What makes me unique is that I don’t often go out in public,” she said.

It should be noted that Azawi is now among the best female musicians in Uganda despite being in the industry for a very short period of time.
