Bajjo Events Accuses Gov’t Of Funding Treatment For Some Musicians And Ignoring Others

Events promoter and upcoming social media blogger Bajjo Events real name Andrew Mukasa Alfonso has accused the government of promoting segregation in the music industry.

He said they fund some musicians’ treatment and ignore others yet they are all in the music industry and all desire equal help.

This came after rumors made rounds on social media that legendary singer Jose Chameleone’s treatment is being paid by the government. The singer got sick on his trip to the United States where he had gone to visit his children and wife.

Although Gravity Omutujju gave him a call and confirmed to the public that Chameleone is sick, some fans didn’t believe it. They all started saying that the singer is pretending to be sick so that he can get billions of shillings from the government.

Bajjo Events himself came out and confirmed that the government is sending Jose Chameleone money yet he is not sick. In an interview with a local television channel, he asked government to care about all musicians in the same way.

The motormouthed events promoter said the segregation needs to stop because it is even promoting hatred among musicians themselves.

“The government of Uganda needs to stop segregation among musicians seeking treatment. I don’t think it is good to see government funding treatment for some musicians and ignoring others. They are all in the same music industry struggling and when it comes to sickness, they all would like to have a better one,” Bajjo said
