Musician Bebe Cool has said that his new album Break The Chain will be out soon and Ugandans will surely love it. The singer said that this is an Afrobeats album.
He added that he wanted to show Ugandans that it is possible to compete with the top musicians on the continent.
The Wire Wire singer talked about the current trend of music and he said that there is no problem with it. He urged Ugandans to support these musicians because they earn something from it.
However, musicians like Joshua Baraka should be supported too because they are the future of the Ugandan industry.
According to the singer, he is getting active because it’s him and other legends like Dr. Jose Chameleone who have the mantle to steer the industry in the direction they want.
“My new album Break The Chain will be out soon and I promise you Ugandans that you will love it so much. It’s an Afrobeat album that I produced in Nigeria. It’s meant to give direction to all the young musicians out there. The likes of I and Jose Chameleone have to take the music industry on the path we deem right. On the issue of the current music, there is no bad music as long as the people embrace it. Support these young artists because they are earning something. But also support the likes of Joshua Baraka too,” he said.
Additionally, Bebe Cool praised comedian Hannington Bugingo. He said that the comedian used to oppose the government until the Gagamel boss asked him why he did this.
The Gagamel boss asked the comedian to draw up a paper about the deficiencies in the entertainment industry. Bugingo did and the current changes taking place are courtesy of him.
