Benon Reveals Why They Chose Zanzibar For The Swangz Avenue All-Star Album

Benon Mugumbya the co-owner of Swangz Avenue has revealed why they chose Zanzibar to record the Swangz Avenue All-Star album. It should be noted that the label recently announced that they are working on releasing an album that has all their artistes on it

This will be released in October. The crew is already in the Tanzanian island and videos of them during a team-building exercise were released this week.

Benon said that they chose the island because it has very good weather and environment. This will help to unlock the creative minds of each one on the team.

Some of the singers there include Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, Elijah Kitaka, Azawi, Zafaran, Big Tril among others. Benon also said that more musicians will be joining the team and many will be surprised.

He further added that producers from even overseas have expressed their desire to work with this team.

“Everyone who knows Zanzibar knows what a beautiful place it is. Very good weather and sand. It’s going to help to unlock our creative minds. Sometimes the magic that you need is changing the environment and that’s what we are trying to do. More artists will be joining and they will be a surprise. Besides, even producers from other countries have expressed the desire to work with us,” he said.

His album, which will be the first of its kind, has already created great anticipation from music fans. This is because the label has some of the top singers in the country who do good music. And with the current stale music on the airwaves, it will be a huge sigh of relief.
