Big Eye Hints At Finally Organzing Concert This Year

Local singer Big Eye Starboss real name Mayanja Ibrahim has hinted at the possibility of finally having a concert this year. He said he has been waiting to have a concert for so many years and he thinks it is now the right time.

Big Eye has been in the music industry for close to 15 years. He hasn’t had as many concerts as other musicians.

In Uganda, organizing concerts is the only way an artiste can make money. Most musicians don’t earn a lot from streaming platforms to sustain their careers.

When an artist gets a hit song, most of them usually organize concerts in multiple places so they can get some thing. For Big Eye, he has been facing so much hatred for the past 3 years because of the political party he decided to support.

Fans couldn’t allow him to perform at a concert without throwing bottles at him. Not until he decided to support the opposition political party specifically the National Unity Platform (NUP).

After he was welcomed by NUP president Bobi Wine, he is now among the artists that are hyped most on social media.

“I have been wanting to have a concert for so long but the environment wasn’t favorable. Now that my fans are willing to support, I am thinking about a concert this year,” he said.
