Big Eye To Sue UNMF For Stealing And Using UMA Ideas

Singer Big Eye real name Mayanja Ibrahim is ready to sue the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) for stealing and using Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) ideas.

He made this statement following the decision of UNMF of not including him on their committee.

Big Eye is the finance minister of UMA and he was so angry when he learnt that a new Federation taking UMA under it has been formed. He said he didn’t know anything about it yet as a leader of UMA he would have been informed even before others.

What annoyed him most is the leadership of the Federation. Eddy Kenzo, who is his enemy, was announced as the president.

By then, Big Eye was in the UK where he had travelled for some shows. He kept on promising to address the UNMF when he is back to the country. Now that he is around, he said he is going to get his lawyers and sue (UNMF and its leaders.

Big Eye said they don’t have any ideas as the Federation. Everything they are using is from UMA and they didn’t ask for permission from anyone.

“I promised to address the UNMF issues when I am back in the country. The truth is that I am not happy because these people are taking advantage of all of us. They don’t have any new ideas, they are using those ones of UMA. As a leader under UMA i have a right to sue them and I am going to do that,” the frustrated singer said.
