Big Trill Questions Why Kenzo-Led Federation Has All Top Positions Filled With Kampala Artistes

Party after Party hitmaker, rapper Big Trill has aired out his frustrations with Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) leadership. He said they are so segregative, they only chose artistes from one region and forgot that the music industry is very wide.

Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) was unveiled to the world early this month. The media wasn’t aware of it until they were called to a press conference after several meetings and informed.

Eddy Kenzo was introduced as the president of the Federation with three deputies, Sheebah, Pallaso and Juliana Kanyomozi.

People were left wondering what would happen to Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) that has been taking on all artistes.

It was explained that UMA will be under the federation as they try to put Uganda’s music industry to the next level.

Most singer in UMA were not even aware that another federation is being formed. This has left some of them longing for answers.

For Big Trill, he is wondering why leadership doesn’t include any musician from other regions if it is a National Federation like they claim.

The singer said there must be something wrong. And if not addressed, it is going to finally cost the entertainment industry.

“I respect everyone on the governing Body of UGANDA NATIONAL MUSIC FEDERATION. But you can’t claim to represent Musicians on a national Level and have the Top 13 Positions all filled with Musicians from One Region, Kampala..3 Vices and they’re all from the central region 🤦🏽🤦🏽 Smh!,” Big Trill said.
