Before Bobi Wine joined active politics in 2017, he was a full Rastafarian with dreads. Even some of his children had braided hair showing how much he is into being a Rasta. When he became a Member of Parliament, he was forced to cut off his hair and become a representable gentleman. However, cutting off the hair didn’t stop him from being a Rasta he has been throughout his life. He kept on preaching the good deeds Rastas are supposed to do.
At the moment, Bobi Wine is disappointed in Rastas that are not following their values. As a proclaimed Freedom fighter, he is so much into fighting for people’s equal rights and justice.
He said these Rastas that don’t believe in what they are supposed to believe in like equal rights and justice are rasclaats.
“If you’re Rasta but you don’t believe in EQUAL RIGHTS AND JUSTICE, you’re rasclaat!,” Bobi Wine said
It should be remembered that some of Bobi Wine’s ex-friends are Rastas like him who support the ruling party NRM and President Museveni. One of these people is Buchaman. We are unsure if Bobi Wine was directly attacking him or any other person.
