Bobi Wine Doesn’t Send Me To Say Anything – Azawi Clears The Air

Swangz Avenue’s famous artist Zawedde Priscilla also known as Azawi has cleared the air about the statements she makes publicly about the music industry and politics. She said that the National Unity Platform (NUP) president and a fellow artiste Bobi Wine doesn’t send her to make any of the statements she makes.

Azawi started as a humble, talented musician but after gaining fame she started becoming very vocal about the problems faced by Ugandans and the whole music industry.

Months ago, she spoke about the leadership of Eddy Kenzo and his appointment as a presidential advisor. She wasn’t supportive of him saying that his motives are not as pure as people think.

She also explained that she believes the singer is in the position he is in for personal gains and making a name for himself as he is married to the minister at the moment.

According to Azawi, people have been alleging that the statements she makes are directly from Bobi Wine but they pass through her so that people can even relate more.

The singer denied the allegations claiming that she makes her statements by herself. The only reason why people think they are from Bobi Wine is because they all have concerns about their country and they don’t fear saying anything about it.

“I have heard people say that the statements I make are from Bobi Wine but that is not true. I make my statements independently. The only comparison between me and Bobi Wine is that we don’t fear raising our concerns publicly,” she said.
