Three Ugandans including Bobi Wine have been nominated in the 2022 Forty Under 40 Africa Awards. According to the final nominations lists published on Wednesday, NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu appeared there.
Along with him, is Reach a Hand Uganda CEO Humphrey Nabimanya and Producer Ronie.
According to Ronie, the nomination is such a huge milestone that marks prosperity this year for him and Uganda at large.
The awards ceremony will happen on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Accra Ghana. Eligibility of the award happened to be that the nominees were citizens in any of the 55 African nations.
They also had to be living on the continent currently or in the Diaspora. The nomination also had to be by someone else other than the proposed award recipient.
They organized these awards apparently to recognize and celebrate 40 emerging leaders under the age of forty.
The recipients also have apparently demonstrated or impacted personally and/or professionally through their wonderful leadership.
It’s categories also cover a wide range of all various sectors one could possibly think of. These range from banking and finance, energy, family, business, agriculture amongst many others.
In similar news earlier reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, Celebrated musician and politician Bobi Wine was finally ranked as the 3rd Panelist in Africa in 2018. He was named as the most influential African in Uganda and Africa at large.
Therefore, Pan-African best selling magazine and New Africa ranked the ‘Kyarenga‘ Hit maker as the 3rd most influential African at that time among the top 100.
