Bobi Wine’s Sister Calls For Music Battle Between Bobi Wine And Jose Chameleone

Irene Nakayemba has called for a music battle between her brother singer and politician Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi and Jose Chameleone.

There has been a debate for a long time about the best musician in Uganda. This has been between the self-proclaimed ‘big three’ Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone.

Years ago, battles between artists was common and it was one of the ways people promoted their brands and music. These days, music battles are hard because they dwell on who is the best. Then fans attack each other even on social media.

For five years, Bobi Wine hasn’t stepped on stage to perform. This is because he was banned and denied the right to do so. Deapite that, Chameleone and Bebe Cool who have been singing nonstop still compare themselves to him.

In an interview with a local television, Bobi Wine’s big sister Irene Nakayemba said she is tired of hearing Chameleone and Bebe Cool compare themselves to Bobi Wine. She said a music battle would be good to see who is an artiste and who is a joker in the music industry.

She also said government should grand Bobi Wine a chance to step on stage again and the Ugandan music industry would be better.

“I want a music battle between Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone. I am tired of hearing words of who is better yet there are stages they can show us live. Government should give Bobi Wine his freedom again and you will see what music is,” Irene Nakayemba Said.
