Boda boda 2010 Boss Kitatta was a few days ago incarcerated by the army in a joint operation with JATT together with a number of boda boda 2010 members in various parts of the city.

Kitatta and some other 12 memebers of the 2010 boda boda gang were on Monday afternoon taken to court and charged with a number of offences.
The gang was charged with offences of failure to protect war material contrary to section 133 (1) and (2) of the UPDF Act 2005,” deputy army spokesperson Lt.Col.Akiiki said.
“They were also charged with unlawful possession of military stores contrary to section 161 of the UPDF Act.” He continued.
The deputy army spokesperson explained that since the offences are capital in nature, the Unit Disciplinary Committee has no jurisdiction to try them and can only read them the charges.
Kitatta and the crew were taken to Kigo prison but didn’t take plea for the charges against them.
The group will return to the military court on February 9th 2018.
Still on boda boda 2010, the police have come out to say that they have no control of kitatta and the his crew
Kayima the police spox revealed that Kitatta is in the jurisdiction of the Chief of Military Intelligence (CMI) and they have nothing to do with him.
The police spokesperon made the statements during a press briefing in Kampala, where he revealed the eight (8) suspects connected to the murder of Francis Ekalungar, a former accountant at Case Hospital.
