Catherine Kusasira Denies Maureen Nantume Music Battle, Says She Can Only Battle Bobi Wine

Singer Catherine Kusasira has denied fellow songstress Maureen Nantume a music battle. She said she can only battle one musician and that is none other than Bobi Wine.

She made this statement following the request that Maureen Nantume had put across in one of her recent interviews.

The singer has said since Sheebah and Cindy managed to make it, she would also be down for a battle with someone like Catherine Kusasira.

Unfortunately, Kusasira has not embraced it. She said she can’t waste any of her time battling someone she knows she is going to win.

According to the singer, it is very okay for musicians who are in the same league to battle. She said the battle between Cindy and Sheebah wasn’t balancing because one is a legend and the other is a beginner.

Kusasira revealed that if she were to have a battle, it would be with someone who is in the same league as her. One of those people is Bobi Wine because they have all been in the industry for almost the same years.

However, Bobi Wine was stopped from performing anywhere in Uganda. Ever since he joined politics, his music career was put on hold and he can’t be in any music battle.

“The only person I can battle musically is Bobi Wine. I can’t just battle someone who I am not in the same league with it would be unfair for both of us.” she said.
