Catherine Kusasira Hits Back At Hon Ssemujju Nganda Over His Remarks About Her Job Credentials

Musician Catherine Kusasira has come out to hit back at Kira Municipality MP, Hon Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda. This is over the remarks he made about her in a recent plenary sitting.

While addressing Parliament, Ssemujju pointed out that several State House workers lack qualifications. Some of those he pointed out included Kusasira.

According to the MP, some of these people have their National Identification Numbers (NIN) filled in the section of their academic credentials.

Furthermore, the MP said that some of them like Kusasira have had their salaries tripled in a short time frame.

According to the MP, the Nkola Ya Taxi singer saw her salary raised from Shs 2.5m to Shs 6m in a short time. Besides, the likes of Kusasira earn way more than those with the right qualifications.

The MP humorously said that it seems the singer was appointed for the purposes of parading her big bums to appease the President.

While replying to the MP, Kusasira said that he doesn’t know what the MP has against her. She however said that she respects him and in fact is one of her favorite legislators.

According to Kusasira, it might be that she’s one of the topics the people of Kira asked him to legislate about. And if so, then he has done his job diligently. She also told the MP that he ought to know that the President awards people according to their capabilities.
