Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga Heaps Praise On Carol Nantongo, Endorses Her Concert

The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga heaped praise on singer Carol Nantongo and endorsed her concert slated for this week. It will take place on the 6th of December at Hotel Africana. She yesterday visited the Katikkiro at Bulange, Mengo to invite him to her concert.

The Buganda Premier was glad to welcome her and this was reflected in his remarks about her. Mayiga said that for the time he has known the singer from the very first song, she has remained steadfast and disciplined.

He added that there are some musicians he’s observed who even come on stage while drunk. This has never been the case with the Kamese Tambula singer. He applauded her for being decent and promised to come through if his schedule allows.

“I want to applaud Carol for being disciplined ever since she got into the music industry. You don’t hear her in unnecessary scandals like some other artists who even come on stage while drunk. She has my full blessings and support for her concert,” he said.

On the other hand, the singer said that since she’s a Muganda woman, she had to go to her ancestral roots and seek blessings ahead for the concert. Furthermore, she revealed that if the Katikkiro does come through, he will be the guest of Honor.

Additionally, Carol Nantongo said that she’s following in Sheebah’s footsteps of giving birth. After her concert, she will go into hibernation and sire twins which she wants. However, she hasn’t yet met the right man.
