According to the civil suit, which she filed on Thursday, Chris invited the woman, described as a choreographer, dancer, model, and musical artist. The invitation came shortly after she arrived in Miami on December 20, 2020.
She says the drink he offered her there made her feel ‘disoriented (and) physically unstable’. The filing then says that Chris led her into a bedroom where, despite her protests, he raped her.
Lawyers Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck said their client did not report the case to the police immediately because she felt embarrassed. When asked if a criminal complaint would be forthcoming in the wake of the civil case, they had no immediate reply.
When the news of the suit broke, Chris Brown took to Instagram.
‘’I HOPE Y’ALL SEE THIS PATTERN OF [blue cap emoji],’’ he wrote the blue cap emoji is used to denote untruths. ‘’Whenever I’m releasing or projects ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullshit.’’
Chris, however, did not specify who ‘they’ were. He has previously been accused of raping a woman in a luxury Paris hotel, which he denied and didn’t face any charges.
