Church Is Now Business – Patrick Salvado Explains

Renowned city comedian Patrick Salvado has come out to explain how the church has become a business these days. He said the way church leaders ask for money, makes it look like a person without money has no chance with God.

Churches have increased in Uganda. Almost every week, there is a new church formed by a new pastor or church leader.

These church leaders know how to speak to desperate people and they use every chance they get to lure people into their churches. One of the things they do is to perform fake miracles.

Patrick Salvado said personally he doesn’t believe in miracles that pastors talk about in their churches like healing the blind and make the lame walk again.

According to the comedian, he knows some popular churches where they force people to give the church their salaries at the end of the month. He said these pastors threaten their followers that God will not bless them once they fail to give in.

Salvado further advised Ugandans who go to church to always go with their eyes open. They shouldn’t accept to be used by church leaders in the name of performing miracles.

“I am not afraid to say this but Churches have now become businesses. I don’t know what people think but personally, I would advise people not to be carried away that easily,”
