Cindy Sanyu Attributes Her Successful Career To Bobi Wine

Singer and president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) Cindy Sanyu has attributed her successful music career to Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

She said if it wasn’t for him giving her a collaboration, she wouldn’t have gotten up after having issues with her former group Blu3.

Cindy Sanyu started her music career in a music group with two other musicians Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru. They had issues and she was the first one to exit the group.

Like any other artiste, she had to start her career from the ground. As hard as it was, Cindy got an opportunity to work with Bobi Wine who was strong on his own. Their song went viral and she started from there to actually build her career.

The talented singer said it was very hard to start all over again especially on her own despite being talented.

“I am known all over the world because of my collaboration with Bobi Wine. Like everyone knows, it’s not easy to come from a group and start all over again. I am lucky Bobi Wine helped me but it wasn’t easy at all,”

She also explained that having worked with Bobi Wine, her name always comes up wherever he goes, and this alone is total satisfaction to her.
