Cindy Sanyu Clashes With Eddy Kenzo Over Musicians Leadership

Dancehall singer and President of Musicians under Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) Cindy Sanyu, has clashed with fellow singer Eddy Kenzo over musicians leadership.

Kenzo recently announced that he is the current president of musicians under the new federation known as Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF). By the time he announced this, Cindy was at home looking after her new born child and her family.

With the president of UMA on maternity leave, there was nothing going on and musicians looked like they don’t fall anywhere. As a concerned musician, Eddy Kenzo decided to start something on his own and invited other fellow musicians to join him.

Most of these did and surprisingly those that were willing to join Eddy Kenzo were not involved with UMA.

By the time Cindy Sanyu returned to the music scene and to resume her work as the president of musicians, Eddy Kenzo had already been going viral.

He invited her and other UMA leaders to join him in the meeting. This was so that they can discuss on what they can do to move forward with the music industry.

Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t go well, Cindy wasn’t happy with how Eddy Kenzo has been presenting himself and UMA.

According to the king herself, he is playing divide and rule. He is moving around and saying different things to different people. Apparently, Kenzo doesn’t feel ashamed and comes back pretending to be the nice person.

“Why would you disrespect us when you don’t even exist? Eddy Kenzo has nothing and he doesn’t add anything to the music industry. I don’t know why he is behaving that way but he should know all the words he is saying to different people are being told to me,” Cindy Sanyu said.
