Cindy Sanyu Reveals What She Feels About Death

Ugandan Musicians Association (UMA) president and singer Cindy Sanyu has revealed what she feels when a fellow artiste dies. She said death always reminds her of what she has accomplished and how her family would survive if she died.

The singer made this statement during the vigil of Evelyn Lagu who died on Monday. Lagu was struggling with kidney and heart problems before it eventually killed her.

Cindy is one of the musicians that doesn’t show how much she has achieved in her career. Fans have got to the point of attacking and telling her that she lives on the streets yet fellow musicians like Sheebah and Spice Diana are busy building houses.

In one of the recent interviews, Cindy said it would be stupid if someone thought she hasn’t achieved anything in the time she has been in the industry.

She said she has a home and other businesses although she doesn’t want to go public with it. The singer revealed that people knew her because of her music and she would want to keep it at that, other material things don’t matter so much.

Even at Evelyn Lagu’s burial, Cindy hinted at what she has accomplished in the years she has been in the music industry.

“Whenever an artist passes away, it reminds me of what I have accomplished thus far. Ensuring that my family members do not become a burden to anyone,” she said.
