Since we are heading to the festive season, some stock even towards the month of December.
There are two main giants for this promotion in Uganda and that is Jumia and Carrefour which bought Shoprite.
“We know that our customers look forward to Black Friday every year, which is why this year’s event is our biggest ever. For five weeks, Carrefour customers can shop incredible deals and save on must-have items that will bring them joy this festive season. By making our Black November deals available even earlier this year and extending our promotions throughout the month, we are giving customers even more reasons to celebrate,” Carrefour communicated.
Despite the increase in the cost of living and prices of everything, they say they still can give back to their customers. Jumia too has announced the start of their black November this month.
This is an online market. Usually, during this period they celebrate their anniversary and chop the prices of all their items to almost half the original price.
Obviously, the customers are nothing but excited and expectant of what the companies have in plans for them.
