Being a media personality, there is always an opportunity to use the platform to elevate other talents. For Panda, singing is one of the talents he found out that he has.
He decided to pursue it alongside being a television presenter. He said it wasn’t easy in the beginning because the first song he did, didn’t go viral.
But when he performed it at one of the schools he had gone to for prom, the students liked it. The singer started believing in himself from then on hence deciding to take singing seriously.
The song that put his music career on another level was a remix of ‘Kyolina Omanya’ with Sheebah Kalungi. People got to know him and how serious he was because the song went viral like he didn’t expect it.
“My first song didn’t gain much attention at first, but when I made a tour to Trinity College, Nabbingo, all the students knew the song. This inspired me to pursue music, and I started to believe in my future in the industry,”he said.
Crysto Panda however noted that he didn’t make that much money from Kyolina Omanya yet it is his biggest song.
