Daddy Andre Discredits Eddy Kenzo’s Position In Music Industry

Singer, producer and songwriter Daddy Andre real name Ojambo Andrew has discredited fellow singer Eddy Kenzo’s position in the music industry. He said that he doesn’t think it is right for him to be the president of the musicians federation when there are educated musicians willing to lead artistes.

Kenzo became the president of the Musicians Federation last year after he created the federation with other musicians. The singer said that his aim is to help the artistes earn from their music.

He also wants to unite all creatives in the entertainment industry. In the beginning, all was good and most artistes supported him.

However, when he decided to start involving government officials in order to pass the copyright law, some artists left. They said they didn’t know it would be political at some point.

Daddy Andre thinks that the federation should focus on developing and elevating the music industry.

As an artiste and producer, he said the last thing he would want to hear is that some artistes created the federation to get money from the government and gain some power by being appointed by the president.

“We are here to develop and elevate our music sector, not by seeking positions. I personally believe that Eddy Kenzo wasn’t fit to be the president of artists or presidential advisor. He doesn’t do anything, it is just benefiting him not any other people,” he said.
