Currently, he’s 100th position, according to Forbes Billionaires list which also included Jeff Bezos, the founder of the world’s e-commerce giant, Amazon, Inc. as the current wealthiest person.

In March, Jeff’s wealth bounced from $112 billion to $151.4 billion as of yesterday, Dangote’s wealth sunk from $14.1 billion to $12.4 billion.

However, the $12.4 billion was higher than the $12.2 billion he was worth earlier this year. According to Forbes, Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest person in modern history. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index said the e-commerce giant Co-Founder’s wealth hit $150 billion in New York City on Monday.

Jeff Bezos, 54,  is now $55 billion more than Microsoft Co-Founder, Bill Henry Gates who’s now the 2nd richest person.

This simply means the Amazon Co-Founder is richer than anybody else on the planet earth.

Jeff crossed the level as Amazon was in preparations to start it’s 36 hour summer sales discount day event which got off to a difficult start as suddenly hit the company’s mobile app and website.

Amazon shares which increased to $1,841.95 on Monday, reduced the earnings, closing up 0.5% at $1,822.49.
