Davido Emotionally Speaks About Welcoming Twins A Year After Losing Son

Nigerian singer Davido has emotionally spoken about welcoming a set of twins, a boy and a girl the same month he lost his son.

His son drowned in a home pool in October last year after he was left behind with their house helper. After that incident, Davido and his wife Chioma started keeping a private life about their relationship.

Chioma got pregnant and lived privately without the media knowing. They started congratulating them after the twins were actually born.

For the first time, Davido spoke about losing his son as he said it was one of the hardest moments in his life.

According to him, so many people would stop believing in God if something that happened to him happened to them. But he was lucky that he had a great team around him to keep pushing him to do better.

“It’s very hard, a lot of people who those things happened to, you will never want to believe in God ever in your life. I’m telling you! To still have faith and to still be able to do what I love, having a great team around me, just focusing and now we’re almost at the finish line,” he said.

The talented singer said the day they found out that they were having twins, they were just shaking. They couldn’t believe it.

“When me and my wife found out, we were shaking and it was in the same month. My son passed last year October,” he said.
