The former Buyende DPC Kirumira has come to have say about the court’s decision of demoting him two ranks down.

Muhammad was demoted two ranks by the disciplinary court from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police to Assistant Inspector of Police.
His demotion came after being found guilty of unnecessary exercise of authority contrary to section 44 of the police code of conduct.
However kirumira didn’t agree with the court decision of De-ranking him.
He said: ““If the appellant court upholds the decision, I will go to the High Court or even the East African court of justice .I will not rest until the demotion is quashed.
He further said that he will appeal so that he retires with dignity for he’s not against the force but rogue individuals.
