Rumors about a romantic relationship between the two singers have circulated for quite some time. Reports even indicated that they had gotten married traditionally in 2022.
In a music video for the song “Yoya,” featuring Levixone and Ray G, Desire appeared as the leading lady. This left many to believe the footage was from their alleged wedding.
However, the geographical distance – with Desire residing in the USA and the Mbeera singer in Uganda – has led to confusion among social media followers.
When asked about their relationship, Desire remained elusive. She mentioned that there is nothing to elaborate on, especially for those who were not present at the rumored marriage ceremony.
“The fact that I traveled all this way to support him indicates that he doesn’t shame me. For those inquiring about our relationship status, just interpret the signs. If they signal love, then assume we are in love; if not, then we are not. Those who attended the supposed ceremony are aware of the truth, while those who did not should continue guessing,” she stated.
Desire Luzinda was also questioned whether she would continue performing her secular songs after becoming a born-again Christian. She indicated that it would depend on the context of the performance.
For example, she would perform her love songs at events like weddings since many of her songs revolve around love.
