Musician Dizzy Nuts Dies In An Accident

Galiwango, commonly known as Dizzy Nuts is one of those rare breeds of hardcore Dancehall Reggae artistes Uganda has ever been blessed and it is sad to report his untimely demise in the wee hours of this morning.

Dizzy Nuts started out as a member of the Fire Base Crew headed by singer cum political player, Robert Bobi Wine Kyagulanyi.

He later left and teamed up with Gagamel Crew’s Bebe Cool with whom they released a monster hit, Fire Burn Dem which really highlighted Dizzy Nut’s talent.

At the height of his career, he was chosen to share the stage and freestyle with touring Jamaican Dancehall legend, Elephant Man and boy did he impress!

The monster voiced Dizzy has lately been rather silent musically but no one can ever deny the fact that Uganda lost a really great voice in Galiwango.

His natural baritone voice could only be compared to Dancehall greats like Bounty Killer and Bassy T of T.O.K.

Other entertainers killed in night time deadly car accidents in the past include, Weather Man, Menton Summer, Herman Basudde, Denis Rackla among others.

One of Uganda’s best musicians, Bebe Cool is thanking his ancestors for saving him from a fatal accident that happened last night in a Kampala suburb of Kireka. The same accident claimed the life of fellow dancehall singer Dizzy Nuts.

According to snoops, the incident took place at 2:00 am outside the notorious Club Victoria.

A source claims Bebe Cool had finished performing at the venue. As he was leaving, he parked his hammer along the Jinja-Kampala highway to have a chat with fellow singer Dizzy Nuts who by the way, is a former member of Gagamel.

Suddenly a speeding Harrier car rammed into Bebe Cool’s Hammer claiming the life of Dizzy Nuts who was still standing outside. According to an eyewitness, Dizzy Nuts was crashed into pieces.

It is further claimed; the driver of Harrier sped off towards Kampala so fast that the police car that was at the venue couldn’t catch up with him.

May the soul of Dizzy Nuts rest in eternal peace!
